Founder of Youth Sports Club Mr. GC Bhardwaj and first famous footballer of the village Mr. Pargat Singh Heer, who specially came from America, NIS Coach continued this sports fair in the coming years to encourage youth towards sports . The final match was played between the teams of Gohgaron and Bihala, in which the team of Gohgaron won. Punjab Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer took time out from his busy schedule to congratulate the organizers of this rural sports fair and blessed the players. Assured to provide all kinds of facilities to live a healthy life and become good citizens. He also announced to fulfill all the demands of the villagers. The absence of Pandit Om Prakash ji (founder president of the club), son of Shubhakaran, a good human being and national level player, who passed away in Canada a few months ago, continues to sadden the management and the villagers. This time also the new emerging players of the area were honored by the club. Prizes were distributed to the teams of the final competition by retired Commandant Arjana Awardee footballer Gurdev Singh Gill and NIS coach footballer Pargat Singh Heer, resident of America. On this occasion, Sant Darshan Singh and all the residents appreciated the efforts, enterprise and dedication of Jampal Retired Deputy Director Akashvani Shri GC Bhardwaj for starting this sports fair and running it smoothly.
It is noteworthy that due to Shri GC Bhardwaj ji's love for the village, he made efforts and brought pride to the village and the region by inviting Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Beant Singh and Sardar Parkash Singh Badal ji twice for Nangal Khiladi in his birthplace Bhoin village.
In 2005, a notification was issued to convert the village from Nangal Choran to Nangal Khiladi and every year central and state ministers are invited to this sports fair and they are continuously trying to make their valuable contribution in the development of the village and the region. On this occasion, MLA Karambir Singh Ghumman, MLA Jasbir Singh Raja, S. Surinder Singh Sandhu Chabewal, S. Gursahib Singh Police Chief Chabewal, Club President Navneet Kumar Bhardwaj, Sarabjit Singh, Principal Ajit Singh, Satnam Singh, Harjinder Singh, Nimrata Ladi, Talwinder Singh Heer, Malkit Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Rajkumar, Davinder Singh, Akash Singh, Surinder Singh, Kulwinder Singh Balram, Balraj, Amarjeet Kumar, Kulwinder Kaur, Bakhshinder Kaur, Nirmal Kaur and a large number of villagers and residents arrived in the area.
