Patiala, December 4 - On the occasion of the International Day of Disability, a state-level event was organized by the sweep team at Punjabi University on the instructions of the Election Commission for the purpose of making voters aware. Speaking on this occasion Deputy Commissioner Patiala Sakshi Sahni, who came as the chief guest, said that every eligible voter should use the right to vote which has been given to us by the constitution of our country. He said that disabled people, who are an integral part of our society, must contribute to building the world's largest democratic system by using their vote. He said that we all need to work together to encourage those who do not exercise their right to be a part of this biggest festival of democracy.
Sakshi Sahni said that the Election Commission is making continuous efforts to motivate every section of the society to vote and vote. On this occasion, Chief Electoral Officer Punjab, Sweep Core Committee Member-cum-District Nodal Officer Sweep Mohali Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal, State Coordinator Manpreet Singh Aneja joined.
