Hoshiarpur, November 28 - District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal informed that according to the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the work of cursory revision of voter lists is going on. He said that special camps will be organized on December 2, 2023 (Saturday) and December 3, 2023 (Sunday) at all the polling booths of the district regarding the cursory correction of voter lists. He said that in these camps BLOs will sit at their respective polling booths from 10 am to 5 pm. He said that common people in these camps form no. 6 (for making a new vote), Form no. 6A (for NRI Voters), Form no. 6B (to link voter cards with Aadhaar card), Form No. 7 (for deducting vote) and Form No. 8 (for making any amendment in voter card, shifting vote) can fill the forms at BLOs. All these forms can also be filled online at www.voters.eci.gov.in site. He appealed to all the people of the district to take advantage of these camps and said that every eligible person must cast his vote.
