Una, November 28 - A workshop on revenue related court procedure was organized for revenue officers at District Headquarters Una, which was presided over by Divisional Commissioner Kangra A Shaynamol.
In the workshop, revenue officers were given important information about various laws which are used daily in departmental work so that high quality can be ensured in the work done by them in future. Divisional Commissioner said that in the past, similar workshops have been organized at three places in district Chamba and Kangra under Kangra division and this is the fourth workshop being organized in Una.
In the first session of the workshop, Assistant Commissioner Virendra Singh gave important information about various sections of the Tenancy and Land Reform Act. While SDM Bangana Manoj Thakur gave information about legal aspects related to tax, marking and illegal occupations in the Revenue Department.
In the second session of the workshop, Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma provided information about the suitability of the Code of Criminal Procedure in revenue matters. In the open session of the workshop, the officers present asked many questions regarding the practical nuances related to the law related to the Revenue Department, to which detailed answers were given by various higher officials.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar, SDM Amb Vivek Mahajan, SDM Bangana Manoj Kumar, SDM Una Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan, Assistant Commissioner Virendra Singh, Tehsildar Ghanari Shikha Patial, Tehsildar Haroli Jaimal Singh, Tehsildar Bangana Rohit Kanwar, Tehsildar Amb Premlal Dhiman, were present in the workshop. Tehsildar Una Hussan Chand and other officers and employees of the Revenue Department were also present.
