The Ministry of Education has launched a nationwide campaign to inculcate interest in research and innovation among school children and spread its benefits to every village. Under this, National Research Week will be organized in every block across the country. Which can be organized anytime between last week of November and first week of January 2024. The topic of this research week is to identify adulteration in food items, which is related to common people, which school students will be able to do easily with the help of teacher. The Ministry of Education has also issued guidelines in this regard. In which four to five schools from each block will be selected for this. Pradhan Mantri-Shri schools will be compulsorily included in it. During the research week in these schools, children from schools across the block will participate to inculcate interest in science, research and innovation. Where he will test a predetermined topic on scientific criteria. In this regard, in the letter written to the states, the ministry has said that it will conduct the tour for a fixed period of time. Nor will you be able to organize it in any week as per your convenience. Meanwhile, financial assistance of three to four thousand rupees will also be given to each school selected for organizing the research week. These will include maximum number of children from rural areas. According to officials associated with the ministry, another school children will benefit from this event. Their inclination towards science and research will increase. Since the subjects of these researches and experiments are common people, the benefit will reach every village. However, since food adulteration has been curbed in urban areas, people engaged in this business have shifted to rural areas.
