Patiala, November 25 - Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni reviewed the ongoing work in view of the announcement made by Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann on the occasion of the inauguration of CM's Yogashala on April 5 this year for the renovation of Patiala's Multipurpose Gymnasium Hall. . Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also visited the spot and reviewed the work to be started on the initial stage of the newly constructed 50-bed critical care unit at the Government Rajindra Hospital at a cost of Rs 20 crore.

He said that repairs of the roof of the gymnasium hall, down-ceiling, bathrooms and toilets, water supply, lighting and ventilation and other repair works are being done rapidly. The Deputy Commissioner ordered Piyush Agarwal, Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department and other officials to complete the work by the end of December 2023.
