Patiala, November 24 - The number of patients suffering from dengue fever in district Patiala increased by 11 more today, taking the total number of patients affected by this fever to 1019. District Epidemiologist Dr. According to the information received from Sumit Singh, 939 patients have been cured so far. Currently active patients are 60 (urban 34, rural 26). Two patients have died while 4 are under state audit. Dr. Sumit Singh has further informed that so far 9,91,913 houses have been inspected and larvae were found in 11023 houses which were destroyed.
