
District Magistrate issued notification of traffic plan for the convenience of devotees in Chintpurni.

District Magistrate Raghav Sharma, using the powers conferred under Section 115 and 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988, has issued a notification to install Automated Traffic Control Barrier to control traffic congestion in Chintuparni Temple area. In the notification, he said that automated traffic control barriers have been installed at the new bus stand Chintpurni barrier, Shambu barrier and Jai Ma Chowk barrier. Apart from this, keeping in mind the increasing number of devotees in the temple area, additional barriers can be installed by the local administration for their safety. The magistrate said that there will be a ban on vehicle movement in the areas which have been restricted for traffic. He said that except ambulances, temple trust vehicles, security protocol vehicles and golf carts for senior citizens and disabled people, the movement of all other types of two wheelers, three wheelers and four wheelers will remain closed in the restricted areas from 10 am to 3 pm every day. .
He said that there will be a complete ban on parking vehicles on the roadside in the restricted areas from Mai Das Sadan to Shambu Barrier. He said that vehicles will not be allowed to park on the by-pass road near Shambu Barrier. He said that people who violate the rules of the traffic scheme will be punished as per rules. He said that the movement of vehicles going for supply of essential commodities and construction materials in the restricted areas will be limited to 8 pm to 8 am. He said that SDMs should ensure to install traffic plan boards at appropriate places and automated traffic control barriers for the information of the general public. He asked the police department to deploy adequate police force at all the barriers so that the traffic plan can be implemented smoothly.
