SAS Nagar, November 20 - Shri Gopa Ashtami festival was celebrated with reverence and fanfare at Gaushala Sector 70 Mataur Temple. On this occasion, former Health Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu and Mayor of Mohali Municipal Corporation Mr. Amarjit Singh Jiti Sidhu reached and offered prayers and took blessings.

On this occasion, Mayor Jiti Sidhu said that we should respect all religions equally and take care of mother cow. On this occasion, after the puja, langar was also served.

Shri Harish Dutta, President of the Cowshala Committee, said that there are about 180 cows in the Cowshala. He said that today a cow has given birth to 2 calves.

On this occasion, Senior Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Corporation Mr. Amrik Singh Somal, Councilor Ms. Balraj Kaur Dhaliwal, Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhalikalan, Chairman of the Committee Mr. Keval Krishan Jindal and office bearers Dheeraj Kaushal, Mr. Krishan Sharma and Rakesh Arora along with social workers Pardeep Soni, lakhs of wrestlers, Shri Victor, Binda Mataur, Makhan Singh, Pappu were also present.
