In Patiala district there was an increase of 20 incidents compared to 2022. In 2022 it was 10 but in 2023 it has become 30 so far. In 2021 this figure was 1757, in 2022 it decreased to 1358 and in the current year it is 1271. The districts where stubble and stubble burning incidents have decreased include Faridkot, Fazilka, Ferozepur and Mansa.
