Education Board Chairperson Dr. Satbir Bedi congratulated the retired officials and employees who established the Education Board and said that the Punjab government has entrusted them with the responsibility of making school education standard and model. He said that he has been leading CBSE for a long time and it was he who established model Adarsh schools in India, which were also implemented as a model all over the country. He said that his first attempt would be that the students who have gone to CBSE from the Punjab School Board should be re-integrated with the Punjab Board.

The function of the event was conducted by Board Employees Association founder Harbans Bagri. Welcoming the guests on this occasion, the president of the association Ranjit Singh Mann said that the main need of the retired officers is pension, he expressed hope that the chairperson of the education board, Dr. Bedi, will be successful in bringing the outstanding balance of the board from the Punjab government.

Retired Secretary of Education Board Jagjit Singh Sidhu praised the tireless efforts of late chairman Gurbakhs Singh Shergil to bring the employees of the board under the pension scheme in the past and said that despite the implementation of Rastrapati rule in Punjab, it was approved by the governor. .

On this occasion, Dr. Bedi honored Jagjit Singh Sidhu, former secretary of the education board, deputy secretary Chaudhry Dalip Chand, deputy secretary Ronak Lal Arora, the long-time president of the education board, Gurdeep Singh Dhillon and the founder of the association Harbans Bagri.
