Patiala, November 15 - Additional Director Language Department Virpal Kaur said that one of the qualifications prescribed for the posts of Group 'C' and above to be filled by the Punjab Government is that the subject of Punjabi at the matriculation level for the candidates. Must have passed. For those candidates who do not have matriculation level Punjabi proficiency, this department will conduct the Punjabi proficiency exam of such candidates on December 10. Last date for submission of form will be 6th December 2023. As before, the examination will be held at the Head Office of the Department, Bhasha Bhavan, Sheranwala Gate, Patiala. The fee for this examination will be Rs.2000/- which will be charged in cash. Candidates submitting the form should bring original certificates of 10th, 12th and graduation, and their attested copies, one 30x25 cm. size self-addressed envelope with postage stamps of Rs.30/- and five passport size photographs of the same snap (out of which two photographs must be attested by a gazetted officer) with light colored background and clothing.
