He said that the Sikh Gurus have thoughtfully included the verses of Sufis, Bhats and Bhagats in Sri Guru Granth Sahib, which has been accepted for ages, from which the relevance and personality of Sheikh Farid Ji's verses can be estimated. Dr. Sikandar Singh said that although 850 years may seem short regarding the era of Farid ji, but the culture created by Sheikh Farid ji's poetry is unique and eternal.
