The gangster's case against Mukhtar Ansari and Bhim Singh first dragged on for a long time in the Parliament-Legislative Court Prayagraj. After this, after being transferred from Prayagraj, he came to the court of MP-MLA Ramsudh Singh established in Ghazipur on 27 January 2022. A total of 11 witnesses were produced by the prosecution. The debate was going on since November 14. Judge Ramsudh Singh fixed the date of sentencing on November 25. In the meantime, he was transferred. After this, the Prayagraj High Court handed over the right to view the files to Judge Durgesh. Seven days of continuous arguments were held in his court and the date of judgment was fixed on December 15.
On Thursday, the court sentenced Mukhtar Ansari and his close associate Bhim Singh, residents of Ramnathpur village, to 10 years each. Special public prosecutor Neeraj Srivastava appeared for the prosecution.
