Patiala, October 27 - In order to make the voters aware of their right to vote, the district administration Patiala organized a cycle rally under sweep activities. The rally was flagged off by Assistant Commissioner Manpreet Kaur (PCS), in which more than 150 people participated.
On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Manpreet Kaur appealed to the people to become a part of the election process to strengthen democracy. Before the start of the cycle rally, the participants of the rally took an oath that they will exercise their right to vote in the elections and work for the strengthening of democracy.
The rally passed through Jail Road, Leela Bhawan Chowk, Fuhara Chowk and Raj Baha Road and ended at the Deputy Commissioner's office.
  On this occasion, Tehsildar Ramji Lal, Dr. Savinder Singh Rekhi District Nodal Officer Sweep, Narendra Singh Nodal Officer Sanur, Prof. Rupinder Singh Nodal Officer Patiala City, Sweep Icon Patiala and International Cyclist Jagwinder Singh, Prof. Shavinder Singh, Prof. Sandeep Kumar District Nodal Officer Social Media Sweep, Mr. Manoj Kumar, Mrs. Rajni Bala, Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur, Prof. Sandeep Singh, Mohit Kaushal and Pooja Chawla were present.
