  Encouraging the players, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has left no stone unturned to promote sports and sportsmen in Punjab, as a result, Punjab sportsmen have carried flags in the Asian Games. On this occasion, Joint Secretary Kho-Kho Federation of India. Singh Virk and District Sports Officer Harpinder Singh were also present.
District Sports Officer Harpinder Singh informed that in Kabaddi circle style in age category under 20 boys, Mansa team defeated Gurdaspur with 37/32 points, Amritsar defeated Barnala with 35/25 points, Faridkot beat Ferozepur with 36 points. /24 and Tarn Taran beat the Patiala team by 25/13. In senior boys, Faridkot defeated Kapurthala by 24/16.
In kho-kho, Sangrur team won first place, Patiala team won second place and Fazilka and Ludhiana got third place. Similarly, in under 21 girls Mr. Muktsar Sahib won first place, Patiala team won second place. And Ludhiana and Sangrur won the third position.
