Patiala, October 20: Archery and Kho-Kho at Polo Ground in district Patiala and Rugby and Kabaddi circle style games at Punjabi University were conducted with great enthusiasm. In the rugby game, Mr. Davinder Singh, President Rugby Association of Punjab and Dr. Dalbir Singh Randhawa, Assistant Director, Punjabi University, Patiala reached the spot and encouraged the players. Ashok Roni, retired Deputy Director of Dairy Department, participated as the chief guest in the Kho-Kho game. On this occasion, Joint Secretary of Indian Kho-Kho Federation Upkar Singh Virk and District Sports Officer Senior were present. Harpinder Singh was also present.             Harpinder Singh, District Sports Officer, Patiala, said that in Rugby Under-17 girls, Tarn Taran stood first, Fatehgarh Sahib team stood second and Barnala and Amritsar stood third. Among Under-17 boys, Fazila got first position, Amritsar got second position and Barnala and Patiala got third position.             In Under-14 Girls Kabaddi Circle Style, Fazilka secured first position, Moga second, Ropar second and Patiala third. In Under 14 boys, Jalandhar team won by defeating Nawan city. Similarly, among Under 17 girls, Moga got first position, Bathinda got second position, Sri Amritsar Sahib got second position and Patiala got third position.             In the Under-14 girls category in Kho-Kho, Patiala team stood first, Sangrur team stood second, Moga stood second and Sri Muktsar Sahib team stood third. Similarly, among Under 14 boys, Sangrur team got first position, Patiala team got second position, Jalandhar and Ludhiana teams got third position. In Under-17, Patiala secured first position and Sangrur secured second position in boys and girls teams. Similarly, among Under-17 girls, teams from Sri Muktsar Sahib and Ludhiana secured third position and among boys, teams from Ludhiana and Kapruthala secured third position.             Age Group 17 Individual Olympic Round: Arabish Kumar Fazilka won first position in Indian Round in Boys and Bharti Sangrur won first position in Girls, Gurveer Singh Fazilka won first position in Under 21 Boys and Manjot Kaur Patiala won first position in Under 21 Girls. Did. Similarly, among boys, Vishwajit Sangrur secured first position and in Under 14 individual Olympic round, Sukhjot Kaur Sangrur secured first position.
