SAS Nagar, October 7 (SAB) Students are the future of tomorrow and our young students can make a significant contribution in controlling the problem of drugs. DSP City 2 sz. Harsimran Singh Bal said this during a seminar organized by Sanjh Kendra Sub Division 2 in Phase 11 Government Senior Secondary School to control the problem of drugs and create awareness about traffic rules. He said that children are not only sensitive but can put pressure on their family members to end their drug habit.
The spokesperson of Sanjh Center said that during this seminar organized under Yuva Sanjh program, Principal of Government Senior Secondary School Phase 11 Mohali Mrs. Virpal Kaur, Sanjh Committee member Sukhdev Singh Walia, ASI Janak Raj in charge of Traffic Education Cell and Yuva Sanjh Committee. During the seminar, the school students were made aware about serving the country by being good citizens, progressing in different fields by getting higher education and staying away from drugs.
On this occasion, children were also given an oath to stay away from drugs and work for the progress of the country by being good citizens.
