Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, October 16:- Under the National Population Education Project, competitions were conducted among government schools of the district on various subjects at S.G.S.S. School Nora. The function was jointly presided over by District Education Officer Jarnail Singh and Deputy District Education Officer Rajesh Kumar. In these competitions organized on the occasion, Government Senior Secondary Smart School Karnana made a strong entry through the role play of girls on the topic 'Role of Joint Families in Child Development'. Parshotam Ladoa presented a beautiful speech and folk dance showing the importance of joint families and won the second place in the district. Giving information, the head of the school, Harmesh Bharti, said that the preparation of the girls was done by Sukhwinder Kaur and the supporting teachers as before. The team member girls were honored by the district education officer with mementos, certificates and cash prizes. He said that the continuous achievements of the school are due to the dedication of the children and the hard work of the teachers. Principal Ranjit Kaur, Headmaster Naveen Pal Gulati, Satnam Singh, Naresh Kumar, Mohinder Singh and Subhash Salvi were present in the event. The child was congratulated by the school head and all the staff.
