A cleanliness oath ceremony was organized by the Health and Family Welfare Department, District Una, under the guidelines of the Chief Medical Officer, Una. Under this, cleanliness related oath was administered to the hospital staff and all the sanitation workers in the District Hospital Una. District Health Officer Dr. Sukhdeep Singh. Sidhu said that Swachhata Seva Pakhwada is being celebrated in the state from 15 September to 2 October 2023, under which all the health institutions of the district will be cleaned. Under this fortnight, all the health officers and employees of the District Hospital Una will clean the hospital premises. Cleaning was done and a rally was taken out for cleanliness awareness. The general public was made aware about the benefits of cleanliness, the ill effects of using plastic and the benefits of environmental cleanliness.
