SAS Nagar, September 21 (SUB) Progressive Welfare Association has completed the installation of solar street lights in the area of houses from Kothi No. 501 to 900 of the local phase 4 and these lights have also started lighting up. Progressive Welfare Association President Mr. HS Kanwar and Senior Vice President Mr. Karan Johar said that these solar lights have been purchased from PEDA with a discretionary grant sent by Member of Parliament Mr. Manish Tiwari. He said that a total of 21 lights have been installed in this area. He said that the organization has also built a badminton court in the park of Phase 4 where the children of Phase 4 play.
