
Jyoti Jyot Purab of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji was celebrated with devotion

Nagar, on September 18, the Jyoti Jot Purab of the fourth Patshah Shri Guru Ramdas Ji Maharaj was celebrated with great devotion at the historical Gurudwara Singh Shaheedan of the nearby village of Sohana. In connection with this Purab, a religious function was organized throughout the day after the Bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib Ji in the morning.

In this religious event, the Panthak group of Bhai Satnam Singh Panjokhara Sahib people informed the Sangat in detail about the life of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji Maharaj and the establishment and construction of Sri Harimandar Sahib Ji by him. Bhai Manjinder Singh Rababi Hazuri Ragi group of Gurdwara Nadha Sahib people through his rasa bhakhan kirtan and discourses to the congregation about the 647 words of Dhur ki Bani in 30 ragas by Guru Sahib Ji which are recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. Explained in detail. Sant Baba Gurdev Singh told through his discourses that Sri Guru Ramdas Ji Maharaj passed away at the age of 47 at the age of 47 at Goindwal Sahib in 1581.
