He has been admitted to Phase 6 Civil Hospital after sustaining a head injury. Japneet Singh said that he was returning from meeting his friends and when he turned left from the square near Amar Hospital, suddenly a motorcycle came in front of him. Japneet said that he braked immediately and gave the horn but the motorcyclist did not reverse his motorcycle. He said that he told the motorcycle rider that he could have been injured in this way, but on saying this, the two men on the motorcycle started beating him. These youths also called their other friends on the phone after which they beat him with sticks, sticks and bricks and his vehicle was also badly damaged. He has suffered many injuries on his head and shoulder. He said that the youths who beat him are all residents of Mataur and threatened him that nothing can harm them.
