Una, Santoshgarh 24 September - A young man lost his life in a road accident today. The young man has been identified as Aniket son of Satish Kumar, village Bainspur, district Ropar Punjab. In the accident captured in CCTV cameras, a tractor trolley was going towards the new bus stand from Santoshgarh Veerbhadra Chowk carrying gravel. The said young man was also going towards the new bus stand on his Activa from Veerbhadra Chowk behind the tractor trolley. As soon as the young man tried to pass the tractor trolley near Shri Vishwakarma Temple, a tanker came from the front. Seeing which the young man probably got scared and suddenly applied the brake of the Activa. Due to which he lost control over the Activa and fell down and came under the rear tire of the trolley. The rear tire of the trolley passed over the head of the young man. Due to which he died on the spot. Meanwhile, the family members of the young man kept the young man in the middle of the road and protested accusing the police of negligence. They says that if any common citizen or the police had called an ambulance and taken the young man to the hospital, perhaps his life could have been saved.
