Una, September 24 - Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will inaugurate the three-day Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav to be held from September 26 to 28 in Amb of Una district. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will be the special guest and Chintapurni MLA Sudarshan Bablu will be the special guest in the inauguration program. The Deputy Commissioner said that on September 26, after welcoming the holy flame of Mata Shri Chintapurni ji, the festival will be formally inaugurated at 4 pm in the fair ground Amb. This festival will be a wonderful confluence of religious, cultural and social diversities, in which a large number of local and foreign tourists will participate. The Chief Minister will also participate as the chief guest in the cultural evening of the first day.
On the second day of the festival, on September 27, in the cultural evening, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Vice President (Cabinet Minister Rank) R.S. Bali will be present as the chief guest, while MLA Sudarshan Bablu will be present as the special guest. On September 28, on the closing ceremony of the festival, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will be present as the chief guest and Sudarshan Bablu will be present as the special guest.
Special theme of the festival
The district administration has decided to celebrate Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav with a special theme by linking it with social concerns. All three cultural evenings will be dedicated to different social issues. The evening of 26 September will be celebrated as Sukh Ashray Day, the evening of 27 September will be celebrated as Old Age Day, and the evening of 28 September will be celebrated as Divyaang Jan Diwas. The purpose of these themes is to increase awareness and sensitivity towards different sections of the society.

In the cultural evenings of Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav, famous artists from India and abroad will perform, which will be the main attraction of this festival. On the evening of 26th September, Sufi singer Satinder Sartaj will enthrall the audience with his popular songs. On 27th September, famous Punjabi singer Lakhwinder Wadali will spread the magic of his voice, and on 28th September, Kulwinder Billa will make the closing evening memorable with his performance. Performances like Phool Ki Holi, Feet on Fire, Mahishasur Mardini Nritya, Drone Show and Wheel Chair Dance will also add to the grandeur of the celebrations.
Apart from this, renowned Himachali artists like Kumar Sahil, Rakhi Gautam, Nitin Kumar, Arshpreet Kaur, Anuj Sharma, Mamta Bhardwaj will also make the festival unforgettable with their performances.
