A large number of devotees attended during the Gurmat ceremony

Nawanshahr - Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society Nawanshahr, dedicated to the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, is organizing a great Kirtan Darbar in Nawanshahr on 4, 5 and 6 November, like every year. The series of Gurmat events in every village across the district is going on continuously by the society dedicated to the said Kirtan Darbar. In this regard, the seventh event was organized with great reverence, love and respect at the local Gurdwara Kalgidhar Sahib. The program started with the recitation of Sodar Rehras Sahib Ji in the evening.

After this, he delighted the Sangat by singing the nectar-filled kirtan of the present Ragi of Darbar Sahib Bhai Sukhjit Singh Kuhadka. The Sangat made the atmosphere full of spirituality by singing kirtan with Bhai Sahib. After this, the scholar and thinker of the sect, Professor Sarabjit Singh Redka, shared Gurmat thoughts with the Sangat. Throwing light on the topic 'Nanak Bhakt Sada Vigasu', he said that it is very important to recite and meditate on Gurbani to make life full of happiness.

People who have a positive attitude in life can remain free from mental stress, anxiety and troubles. He said that people who believe in Gurbani can never go into despair. He praised the series of Gurmat programs being dedicated to Prakash Parv by Guru Nanak Mission Society and the efforts being made for social service. In the end, Barjinder Singh Hussainpur and other members of the society honored the Ragi Jatha of Darbar Sahib and the Gurudwara Managing Committee. On this occasion, the chief servant of the society, Surjit Singh, thanked Akal Purakh for the full cooperation given by the members and the stage was lit by Tarlochan Singh Khatkar.

On behalf of the Gurudwara Committee, President Sardar Tarlochan Singh thanked the people who came. He also appealed to the Sangat of the area to give maximum cooperation to Guru Nanak Mission Service Society.
