Bengaluru, September 19- An FIR has been registered against Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu regarding the statement made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in America about the situation of Sikhs in India. Police officials said that a case has been registered based on the complaint of an official of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. FIR has been registered under section 353 (2), 192 and 196.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Congress party had filed a police complaint against four leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena, including Union Minister Ravneet Bittu, and demanded an FIR. In this regard, a complaint was filed in the Tughlaq Road police station by the treasurer of the party, Ajay Maken.
