Public hearing on environmental impact of stone crusher project on 20th

Una, September 18 - Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that a public hearing will be organized on September 20 regarding the environmental impact of the proposed stone crusher project in Sanjhot of Una district. This public hearing will be held on September 20 at 11.30 am in the open ground of Gram Panchayat Ghar, Nangal Salangdi, Una. Its purpose is to receive suggestions, views, comments and objections of the public on the said project.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner urged all the concerned Panchayat representatives and local people to attend the public hearing. He requested them to participate in this hearing and share their valuable suggestions and views regarding the environmental impact of the proposed stone crusher and screening unit.
Let us tell you, in this public hearing organized by Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board, the project proposed by Ravinder Kumar, M/s Jagdamba Stone Crusher and Screening Unit will be discussed, which is proposed to produce 60,000 TPA of sand, stone and gravel at Sanjhot, Una. This project is to be set up on 2.82 hectares of private land.
