
The grand opening of the series of Gurmat events from Gurdwara Tahli Sahib
Nawanshahr - Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society and Nawanshahr started special night Gurmat programs dedicated to the 555th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj Ji which is being celebrated at the district level on 4, 5 and 6 November 2024 in a very grand manner from Gurdwara Tahli Sahib Nawanshahr. A large number of people from Nawanshahr as well as the villages of the area participated in this program.

The event was started after the Bani of Sodar Rehras Sahib. First of all, Bhai Gurkirat Singh Hajuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib Jatha delighted the Sangat with the Rasbhinne Kirtan of Amritmai Bani.
After this, Bhai Sarabjit Singh Ji Ludhiana Wale shed light in a scholarly manner on the purpose of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's coming to this world and the important events of his life from his birth. He shared with the devotees in beautiful words what is the importance of the Bani composed by Guru Nanak Sahib in our lives. Giani Jaswinder Singh Ji, Head Granthi prayed for the success of the event. Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society honoured Barjinder Singh Hussainpur, the patron of Gurmati events, and the Gurdwara Committee honoured Raggi Jatha Bhai Sarabjit Singh and other dignitaries.
The society's chief sevadar Mr. Surjit Singh thanked all the devotees who had come and requested them to participate enthusiastically in the Maha Kirtan Darbar being celebrated at the district level and the Gurmati programmes being held in various villages.
The stage was managed by Mr. Tarlochan Singh Khatkar Kalan.
On this occasion, the Gurdwara Sahib building was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. After the conclusion of the programme, Guru ka Langar was served.
