The newly appointed District Health Officer of Hoshiarpur raided places keeping the health of the people as the priority

Hoshiarpur - As per the guidelines of Commissioner Food and Drug Administration Punjab Dr. Abhinav Trikha and Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra, the newly appointed District Health Officer Dr. Jatinder Bhatia along with Food Safety Officers Munish Sodhi, Vivek Kumar and Abhinav Khosla raided various places in sub-urban area, Tanda and Garhshankar of Hoshiarpur.

Hoshiarpur - As per the guidelines of Commissioner Food and Drug Administration Punjab Dr. Abhinav Trikha and Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra, the newly appointed District Health Officer Dr. Jatinder Bhatia along with Food Safety Officers Munish Sodhi, Vivek Kumar and Abhinav Khosla raided various places in sub-urban area, Tanda and Garhshankar of Hoshiarpur.
The Food Safety Team took 9 samples of open paneer from these places. The samples taken have been sent to the food lab for examination. If the report of the samples is not in accordance with FSSAI, action will be taken under the Food Safety Standards Act 2006. The moldy khoya and expired bottles of sauce found during the raid were destroyed on the spot.
The DHO strictly instructed those selling adulterated fertilizers that playing with public health will not be tolerated at any cost and strict action will be taken against those doing so. Giving information to the people of the district, the DHO said that while buying food items, definitely check its expiry date. Expired food items should not be used.
