Una, September 13 - Kutlahar Assembly MLA Vivek Sharma held an important meeting with Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal and officers of various departments in Una on Friday to review the progress of development projects going on in his assembly constituency. In this meeting, the MLA directed to expedite the upcoming development schemes keeping in mind the primary needs of the area. He said that every effort is being made for the overall development of Kutlahar and the speedy implementation of these schemes will be ensured.
Vivek Sharma said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, there will be no lack of development in Kutlehar Assembly constituency. The Chief Minister always emphasizes that the development projects should be completed quickly and the best possible facilities should be provided to the people. Under his visionary thinking and leadership, every citizen of the area will get advanced facilities. We are working fast in this direction and more important projects will be completed in the coming time.
The MLA stressed on early selection of suitable land for construction of new bus stand at Bangana. He said that this project will improve transport facilities of the local people and ensure overall development of the area.
Vivek Sharma asked to pay special attention to the selection of a suitable site for the district level Piplu fair to be held in Piplu village, so that a suitable and well-organized place is available for all the activities to be held during the fair. He also instructed to take necessary steps to make this event grand and attractive.
The MLA directed to complete the land selection process for the construction of Sub-Judge Court in Bangana soon, so that judicial services can reach the common people effectively. Apart from this, he discussed with the concerned officials about the problem of low voltage of electricity in the area and asked to solve the problem soon by increasing the capacity of the transformer and installing new transformers.
Vivek Sharma stressed the need to expand the Public Works Department Rest House located at Bangana, so that better facilities can be provided to the visitors and officials coming to the area.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal expressed his commitment towards the speedy progress of development schemes. He directed the officers to expedite the land selection and other formalities for development works so that the pace of development works can be further accelerated.
SDM Bangana Sonu Goyal, DFO Sushil Kumar, and other senior officials attended the meeting.
