Nagrota Bagwan:- Former Union Minister and current Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur said that the illegal construction of a mosque is going on in Shimla under the nose of the Congress government and the officials are watching as silent spectators. He said this during a press conference at the Rest House of Jal Shakti Department in Nagrota Bagwan. Anurag Thakur alleged that people from some communities also made Aadhaar cards wrongly. It can be said to be an irony in itself that the Congress Minister was speaking in the Legislative Assembly while the Chief Minister of the state was asleep.
Anurag Thakur said that law and order has completely broken down in the state. The Sukhu government of the state has proved to be a failure on every front. The common people are feeling cheated as the Congress has failed to fulfill the promises it came to power on. Anurag Thakur said that the prices of petrol and diesel were increased twice as soon as the Congress government was formed in the state. Preparations are being made to impose a cess on electricity, which will increase the financial burden on the public. Congress has brought the state to the brink of bankruptcy.
Anurag Thakur said that Congress guarantees have become a noose around the neck. While the promises of giving free electricity and water to common people proved to be empty, the talk of giving Rs 1500 per month to women has also proved to be a failure.
