Shimla, September 11- Demonstrators demanding the demolition of an illegal structure in a mosque in Sanjauli area of ??Shimla today broke the police barricades during the demonstration. Later, the police resorted to baton charge to disperse the crowd. According to the information received, hundreds of protestors gathered in the Vegetable Mandi Dhalli shouting slogans of 'Jai Sri Ram' and 'Hindu Ekta Zindabad' marched towards Sanjauli.
 Meanwhile, they also broke the police barricades installed near Dhalli Surang. These protestors gathered on the invitation of Hindu organizations also broke the second barricade installed near the mosque. Later, the police used water cannons and lathi charge to disperse the protestors. The Shimla district administration has issued prohibition notices under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Code, which prohibits assembly of five or more persons and carrying weapons.
