Ludhiana - The protest going on since 28th March under the leadership of Sangharsh Committee against polluted gas factory continued on the 23rd day. As always, ladies and gentlemen arrived at the protest site. Various leaders expressed their views and singers sang songs of struggle. A delegation of Sangharsh Samiti members went to village Ghungrali Rajputa. Where a district level team constituted by DC Ludhiana reached Ghungrali Rajputa to prepare a report on the impact of the polluted factory on the people of the area.
However, when the factory owners came to know about this, they had already closed the factory for a week. But when the local and villagers told the reality, the officials on the spot saw that after the production of gas,  lakhs of liters of bad water, foul smelling, contaminated water was being poured on the roads and fields and saw gutters of dirty water from deep wells. Finally the officials prepared the report and gave it to DC Ludhiana. People of the area warned that if justice is not provided then the struggle will be intensified. Ghunghrali and the area residents also protested against this polluted factory.
