Nawan Shahr 7 September 2024:- District and Sessions Judge cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Ms. Priya Sood and Civil Judge (Senior Division)/ CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Sabhas Nagar Dr. Amandeep Shade trees were planted at Sri Namwa Kanwal Raja Sahib, Birdh Ashram Fatoana Sahib, village Bhorumjara.
Apart from this, fruits were also distributed to the elderly living in the old age home by the District and Sessions Judge, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Ms. Priya Shud. On this occasion, Hon'ble District and Sessions Judge, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Mrs. Priya Sood interacted with the elders and listened to their problems. Apart from this, senior citizens were informed about their rights under the Senior Citizens Act.
Further, Civil Judge (Senior Division)/ CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Sabhas Nagar, Dr. Amandeep Jian said that if any person needs free legal assistance, he should contact the District Legal Services Authority, Sabhas Nagar. Free legal aid can be obtained by calling the office number 01823-223511. Apart from this, about 125 saplings were planted by PLV Avtar Chand Chumber and PLV Jaswinder Kaur Rani on this occasion.
On this occasion, PLV Avtar Chand Chumber, PLV Jaswinder Kaur Rani and Sri Nabha Kanwal Raja Sahib, Birdh Ashram Fatoana Sahib, Chief Sevadar of village Bhorumjara Baba Balwant Singh and other sevadars were present.
