This is a good step. In a joint statement to the press, they said that it will be effective in strengthening the security perimeter of women and children.
He said that the bill has a provision for hanging, in which there is a provision to complete the investigation against the accused in 21 days through fast track and hang them in seven days. He said that such laws should have been made earlier, but this law has come after putting the honor of so many daughters at stake. Still, keeping in mind the saying 'better late than never', it should be appreciated. The Governor of West Bengal should also pass it soon and give his seal of approval and implement this bill as soon as possible and order the hanging of the culprits who did a heinous act with the doctor's daughter and the Center and other state governments should recommend the implementation of this bill. So that no other daughter has to suffer like this.
