
Haryana: Disgruntled Power Minister Ranjit Chautala's 'blow' to BJP
Sirsa/Chandigarh, September 5 - After Haryana's ruling party, the BJP, announced 67 candidates for the assembly elections, the revolt of the ticket-deprived leaders is beginning to emerge. Haryana's electricity and prisons minister Ranjit Singh Chautala has announced his resignation from the post of minister, angry at not getting the party ticket. Talking to reporters at his residence, he has said that he will contest as an independent candidate from Raniyan Assembly Constituency.

Haryana's electricity and prisons minister Ranjit Singh Chautala has announced his resignation from the post of minister, angry at not getting the party ticket. Talking to reporters at his residence, he has said that he will contest as an independent candidate from Raniyan Assembly Constituency.
He did not give any answer to the question of joining any other party but said that he will contest from Rani constituency. It is to be noted that Ranjit Singh Chautala won the election as an independent candidate from Raniyan constituency in 2019 and later he joined the BJP.
