It is to be mentioned that the farmers belonging to the BKU (Ugrahan) organization will hold a protest march towards the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Monday (today) for the three-day monsoon session. However, a 'mahapanchayat' (farmers' convention) will be held later at the protest site in Sector 34 ground in the middle of the city by the Samyukta Kisan Morche. Protesters under the banner of BKU (Ugrahan) and Punjab Khet Mazdoor Union have been given permission to stage a dharna at the camp site. According to their plan, the farmers are expected to camp here till September 5, during which the next program will also be drawn up by them.
