Giving light to someone's dark life is the greatest virtue - Gurvinder Bahra

Hoshiarpur - On behalf of Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplant Society, under the leadership of president and eminent social worker Sanjeev Arora, the officials of the society met Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of Riyat Bahra Group of Institutes. Former Rajya Sabha member Avinash Roy Khanna and chairman of the society JB Bahl were also present on this occasion.

Hoshiarpur - On behalf of Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplant Society, under the leadership of president and eminent social worker Sanjeev Arora, the officials of the society met Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of Riyat Bahra Group of Institutes. Former Rajya Sabha member Avinash Roy Khanna and chairman of the society JB Bahl were also present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Principal Sanjeev Arora gave information about donating eyes to Gurwinder Singh Bahra and said that so far the society has provided new eyes to more than 4100 people suffering from corneal blindness. And now they can see this beautiful world with their own eyes.
Mr. Arora said that so far 24 dead bodies have been sent to various medical colleges for postmortem by the society. Chairman JB Bahl said that the society has been doing cornea transplant for the last 15 years and no money is taken from any patient. But all this has been possible only with the help of donors and he said that this work of service will continue till the country is free from blindness.
On this occasion, Gurwinder Singh Bahra appreciated the work of the society and said that the work done by Rotary Eye Bank to remove corneal blindness is very commendable. Which he keeps reading through newspapers and he said that today our society is progressing only because of organizations like Rotary Eye Bank and he said that providing light to someone's dark life is the greatest virtue.
He also assured the society of full cooperation. Campus Director Chandra Mohan, Madan Lal Mahajan, Jasveer Kanwar etc. were present on this occasion.
