Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, August 27:- Block level sports competitions of 'Khedan Watan Punjab Ki Season-3' are starting from September 4 in the district. Giving information, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain and District Sports Officer Rupesh Kumar Begra said that these sports competitions will be held in 04 blocks of the district, in which there is great enthusiasm among the players to participate. He said that complete preparations have been made by the district SAS Nagar team to hold the sports competition. Athletics, football, kabaddi (national and circle style), kho-kho and volleyball competitions will be held here at the block level.
Competitions are being conducted at different sports venues in 04 blocks Kharar, Mohali, Derabassi and Majri in the district.
1. Block Derabassi dated 02-09-2024 to 04-09-2024 at Government College Derabassi and Lalru Stadium whose Nodal Officer is Mr. Joni Bhatia, Swimming Coach Contact No. (9803060214)
2. Dated 02-09-2024 to 04-09-2024 at Block Kharar at Saheed Kanshi Ram College of Physical Education, Bhago Majra Kharar and MC Stadium Kharar, whose Nodal Officer is Mr. Jatinder Verma, Basketball Coach (9855551050).
3. Block Majri dated 05-09-2024 to 07-09-2024 at Sports Stadium Singhpura Road Kurali and Khalsa School Kurali, whose Nodal Officer is Shri Gurjit Singh, Football Coach (9914083034),
4. At Block Mohali from 05-09-2024 to 07-09-2024 at Sports Stadium Sector 78 Mohali, whose Nodal Officer will be Mr. Surjit Singh, Football Coach (9216159599).
