This is the most coveted award given for excellence in research, making high impact contribution to science at the national and international level, across all disciplines of medicine, surgery and basic medical sciences, by a woman scientist. The award was given at the NAMS conference on “ Women in Medicine: Pioneers of Change” held at AIIMS Rishikesh. This award has brought glory to PGI Chandigarh and to psychiatry fraternity in the country.
