Patiala, August 22 - The season-3 of 'Khedan Watan Punjab Ki' has started with Khel Mashal. The sports torch will reach Patiala on August 26, passing through various districts of the state. In this regard, Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Madam Kanchan, while reviewing the preparations, said that the torch to be lit on the occasion of the opening ceremony of season-3 is being taken to every district headquarters in the whole of Punjab. Which has started from August 20 from Ludhiana. This Mashal Yatra will reach Patiala on August 26.
 The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that on reaching Patiala, the Mashal Yatra will be warmly welcomed by the district administration, sportsmen and sports lovers. He said that this torch will come from Sri Fatehgarh Sahib to Patiala Which will be received by Patiala players from Jakhwali. After this, it will be brought to the Raja Bhalinder Singh Sports Complex through Gurdwara Sri Dukhniwaran Sahib, Leela Bhavan, Fuhara Chowk, where it will be welcomed by Patiala residents including the players.
On this occasion, District Sports Officer Harpinder Singh said that online registration can be done to participate in these sports competitions. He said that various games under these games are organized at block level, district level and state level under-14, under-17, under-21, under 21-30, under 31-40, under 41-50, under 51- 60, under 61-70 and above 70 age groups are being organized.
