On August 17, 2024, the foundation day of Pagham-e-Jagat newspaper was celebrated after completing one year of its inception. On this occasion, a grand function was organized at Hotel Park Hills Mohali. The cake was cut by Shri Ram Parkash, father of Editor-in-Chief Devinder Kumar. Bapu Sewa Das Ji from Hoshiarpur, who has always been a spiritual guide for our family, blessed everyone. My childhood friend and businessman Mr. Sudhir Kumar Chadha, who arrived from Delhi, praised our efforts. Shri Chadha ji has stood by us like a rock since day one. Similarly, Mr. Paramjit Singh Parwana, retired senior announcer of Akashwani from Patiala, made the event extremely happy by singing melodious songs like Rafi Sahib's song "Khuda Vi Asman To Jab Dekhda Hoa" and "Chalkaye Jam". Peagam-e-Jagat journalists and colleagues from across Punjab were also present on this occasion. In which especially, Mr. Joginderpal "Happy", Phula Singh Birampuri, Baljinder Kittana, Naveen Kumar, Tilak Raj, Praveen Kumar, and many other gentlemen were present. Kumari Kartika Singh performed the stage management well. His sweet voice and Share-o-Shayari were well appreciated. On behalf of myself and my colleagues, I am deeply grateful to everyone, thanks to whom this event was completely successful and memorable. Everyone's support and guidance will be awaited in the future as well.
