Mahilpur, August 21 - A heritage fair was organized by the students of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Collegiate School in the Mahilpur campus of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College here.
On this occasion, the principal of the college, Dr. Parvinder Singh, said that apart from academic studies, such cultural events conducted in the college help to build the personality of the students in many ways. On this occasion, Gurpreet Kaur won the first place, Prabhajit Kaur the second place and Simran Kaur the third place in the competition for making posters related to culture. In the mehndi decorating competition, Preetika won the first place, Aarti Chowdhury won the second place and Shinei won the third place. In the rangoli making competition, Manveer Kaur got first, Praveen got second and Surdeep got third.
On this occasion, the student Esha won this title in the Miss Punjaban competition. During the ceremony, students of class XI, Kirti Bala, Raghav Sharma, Ravinder Soodi and Gurpreet Kaur were honored for achieving good results and student Nandini Singh was honored as the best reader of the library. The stage was conducted by students Kirti Bala and Simran. On this occasion, principal and staff distributed prizes to the students and encouraged them.
