Inter-departmental committee will submit report on Bathu-Bathri flood accident in 10 days

Una, August 21 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the inter-departmental committee constituted to find out the causes of the Bathu-Bathri flood accident will submit its report in 10 days. He said that this committee will investigate the circumstances arising out of the severe flood in Bathu-Bathri of Haroli on Sunday, 11th August and will submit its report after thoroughly analyzing all the aspects including the reasons for the flood taking a severe form due to obstruction of the ravine path.

Formed under the chairmanship of ADC Una Mahendra Pal Gurjar, this committee has SDM Haroli, Joint Director Industries, BDO Haroli and Mining Officer as members.
Let us tell you, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mukesh Agnihotri, during his visit to Bathu-Bathri flood affected area on August 12, had asked the district administration to form an inter-departmental committee and submit a report after finding out the reasons for the severity of the flood so that corrective steps can be taken so that such accidents do not recur in future.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that he himself visited all the flood affected areas on Wednesday to take stock of the situation. During this, SDM Haroli Rajiv Thakur, Mining Officer Neeraj Kant and other officials were present.
