Chandigarh:- Former AIG of Punjab Police shot and killed his IRS son-in-law in the district court of Chandigarh. The deceased has been identified as Harpreet Singh. Harpreet Singh was going through a divorce case with his wife. They reached the court today for hearing. The IRS officer has been going through a divorce case with his wife for a long time. Today, both parties reached the court for hearing. The court sent both the parties to the mediation center where counseling was going on between the two parties.
Meanwhile, the girl's father, former AIG of Punjab Police, Malwinder Singh Sidhu, said to go to the bathroom. He brought his son-in-law out of the center on the pretext of asking for directions to the bathroom. As soon as he came out, he fired about 5 bullets, out of which 2 bullets hit Harpreet Singh. After this, the family members immediately admitted Harpreet Singh to the hospital, where he died during the treatment.
