Hoshiarpur - As per the guidelines of National Legal Services Authority, Hon'ble Supreme Court, New Delhi, following the orders of Hon'ble Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur Dilbag Singh Johal led by CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur Raj Pal Rawal is organizing the third National Lok Adalat of the year 2024 on 14th September 2024 at district level and sub-division level. In relation to which a meeting was held with the officers of various departments, bank managers at the new District and Sessions Court Complex Hoshiarpur. During this meeting, discussions were held with all the concerned officers regarding the cases to be placed during the National Lok Adalat. During this meeting, all the BDPOs were instructed to do maximum publicity in the villages during the National Lok Adalat meeting to be held on 14th September 2024. Along with this, bank managers were directed to file maximum number of cases in this Lok Adalat and traffic in-charge was directed to send pending challan to the court through this Lok Adalat. The matters were discussed with Executive-1 and 2 of Electricity Department.
During the meeting, Prem Singh Salaria, member of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Hoshiarpur and Paramveer Singh, Junior Assistant Officer for pre-litigation cases of BSNL and Assistant Officer of Insurance Companies for MACT Padding cases were told that maximum number of cases should be settled in the National Lok Adalat to be held on 14th September 2024 so that people can get the benefit of this Lok Adalat.
The concerned officers participating in this meeting were given guidelines by Hon'ble CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur to do maximum publicity about taking advantage of Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services). So that people can take maximum benefit of public utility services.
