Nawansehr, August 1 - All the officers and inspectors of the Cooperation Department, which is under the Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Bhagwant Mann, have started a strike from July 23. Mrs. Paramjit Kaur, representative of Punjab State Cooperative Officers Association, Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and Kapil Kumar, President of District Unit of District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar of Punjab State Cooperative Inspectors Association, informed that a Vigilance Department Hoshiarpur In the old FIR, former Inspector of the Department now Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Dasuha Mr. Yudhveer Singh was arrested without any charge. Taking serious notice of this by the associations, a pen-cutting strike has been conducted from 23 July 2024. But the higher officials did not think it was right to talk with the associations. It has been told by the leaders that the associations are against corruption and wrongful 'advances' were made by the accused. The Vigilance Department should take action against them as per the rules, in which the associations will not have any objection, but the Vigilance Department will not tolerate any illegal action against the innocent officials/employees.
It has been made clear by the leaders that they are not in favor of going on strike. Rather, they want to do their work, but due to the harassment of the employees by the Vigilance Department, Punjab, all the officers and inspectors of the Cooperative Department are under mental pressure, and due to the higher officials turning a blind eye to this issue, all the officers/employees of the department are under mental pressure. He warned that if this issue is not resolved soon by the Financial Commissioner Cooperative, then the struggle will intensify in the near future.
