Una, July 31 - Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Himachal Pradesh will open fair price shops in Gram Panchayat Lower Arniala of Una development block of the district. Giving information in this regard, District Controller Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Una Rajiv Sharma said that priority will be given to public institutions or public bodies such as Gram Panchayat, Self Help Group, Cooperative Sabhas, Mahila Mandal and Women's Institutions for fair price shops. Apart from this, single women, widow women whose children are dependent on them, physically handicapped persons as defined by Women and Child Development Department Himachal Pradesh, who are defined in the Disability Act 1955 and are capable of handling the fair price shop efficiently, ex-servicemen, educated unemployed whose family members are not employed in a permanent job, such persons will be given second priority. Apart from this, applications are invited from Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation for third priority.
He said that interested persons can apply online for fair price shop through Single Window Clearance System (SWCS) till 19th August. He informed that minimum educational qualification of the applicant must be Matriculation pass and age limit should be 18-45 years.
