On this occasion, President Sanjiv Arora said that we are living in a safe environment in the country only because of our brave soldiers standing day and night on the borders of the country and Bharat Vikas Parishad salutes such great martyrs and soldiers.

Borders who are always ready to protect us risking their lives. The sacrifice of such military heroes will never go in vain and Mr. Arora said that whenever a crisis hits the country, our soldiers are the first to come forward and drink the jam of martyrdom to save the country and us. It is because of their martyrdom that we celebrate self-respect days like Vijay Diwas. We will always be indebted to these martyrs.
On this occasion, Secretary Rajendra Modgil and HK Nakkra said that our jawans perform their duties with full dedication even in difficult circumstances, which we cannot even imagine. On the one hand, our soldiers remain steadfast even in extreme heat and minus degree temperature. Not only this, our soldiers risk their lives to protect us during floods, earthquakes and other calamities. On this occasion, salute was given to the martyred soldiers in Kargil and two minutes of silence was observed. On this occasion, Rajinder Maudgil, HK Naka, Lokesh Khanna, Vijay Arora, Jagdish Aggarwal, Amarjit Sharma, Naveen Kohli, Madan Lal Mahajan, Vinod Pasan, Ramesh Arora, Raj Kumar Malik, Praveen Khurana, Ravi Manucha, Ravinder Bhatia, Vikas Kumar etc. were present.
